Day 1
Arrival at Delhi. Proceed for Delhi local sightseeing.
Humayun's Tomb – The elegant red sandstone structure has been archeologically restored is one of the most beautiful landmarks of Delhi. Qutub Minar - A soaring tower of early Muslim vintage, Qutub Minar is a major landmark of Delhi. Rajghat - A homage to “Father of the Nation”, Mahatma Gandhi. It is set in a garden with fountains and a variety of exotic trees. Bahai Temple – Temple resembles a Lotus and hence is aptly called as Lotus Temple. India Gate - Constructed as a memorial to commemorate the 70,000 India soldiers who laid down their lives in World War I, India Gate is located on Rajpath. Red Fort - Made in red sandstone, Red Fort is witness to all the historically important events right from the times of Mughals till date. Each night a Sound and Light show takes place in the Red Fort. Overnight at Delhi.
Day 2
Proceed to Agra (195 km). Visit the famous Akshardham Temple enroute. The Akshardham temple complex has been built on the banks of the serene River Yamuna and lies over a sprawling 100 acres of lush manicured lawns adorned with water fountains. Proceed to Agra for overnight stay.
Day 3
Visit to Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Sikandara, Itmad Ud Daulah.
Taj Mahal - The ultimate symbol of love situated on the banks of River Yamuna (closed on Friday). Agra Fort - Agra Fort, commissioned by Mughal Emperor Akbar continued to have additions till the period of Shah Jahan. Shah Jahan was held captive here by his son Aurangazeb.
Sikandara - The mausoleum of Emperor Akbar at Sikandara combines the best of Hindu and Muslim architectures. Completed in 1613 A.D. by his son Jahangir, it is one of the well-preserved monuments. Itmad Ud Daulah - Itmad-ud-Daulah, the tomb of Mirza Ghyas Beg, was built by his daughter and queen of Emperor Jehangir, Noor Jahan. Overnight at Agra.
Day 4
Fatehpur Sikri (36 km from Agra) built in red sandstone, was built by Mughal Emperor Akbar. Akbar constructed his capital city here and named it Fatehpur Sikri.
Jaipur (196 km from Fatehpur Sikri) - Arrival at Jaipur. Half day site seeing at Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Jantar Mantar and Laxmi Narayan Temple (Birla Temple). Jantar Mantar is a collection of early 18th century structures designed to measure the movements of the stars, sun and planets, while Hawa Mahal is a giant facade on the outer wall of the palace, created by the Maharaja to allow the ladies to discreetly watch the on-goings in the busy city below. Overnight at Jaipur.
Day 5
Visit to Amber Fort and Jaigad. Evening at Chokhi Dhani Ethnic Village. Amber Fort, 11 km from Jaipur, completed over a period of about two centuries is a classic fusion of Mughal and Hindu architecture, built in red sandstone and white marble. Jaigarh is one of the most spectacular forts of Jaipur. Jaigarh Fort is situated on a hilltop which has giant mounted cannon known as Jaivan, which is believed to be the largest cannon in the world. Chokhi Dhani is an Ethnic Village known for the experience of the typical Rajasthani environment where you can enjoy Rajasthani Folk Dance and food. Overnight at Jaipur.
Day 6
Departure from Jaipur for your return journey.
