Itinerary Summary

  • Day 1:

    Upon arrival at Ramnagar station, proceed to the hotel. Dinner and Overnight stay

  • Day 2:

    Morning and evening safari's in Bijrani Zone.

  • Day 3:

    Post breakfast and a morning safari in Corbett, proceed to Ranikhet (distance- 90 km, time- 3 hours), check into the hotel and later proceed for sightseeing of-

    Golf Course- Ranikhet Golf Course is one of the highest golf courses in Asia, located 5 kilometres from main Ranikhet City. Ranikhet Golf Course is a 9-hole course, making it one of the prime attractions of Ranikhet. The green meadow of the golf course at such high altitude is awe-inspiring.

    Chaubatia Orchard- Considered as one of the best places to visit in Ranikhet, the ‘Chaubatia Garden’ is known for their exquisite orchards of peaches, apples, plums and apricots. Stationed at a distance of 10 km. from the heart of Ranikhet, these gardens are a pleasant spot for picnics and day outings.

    Kumaon Regiment Museum- The Kumaon Regimental Centre is a famous museum that was built in the 1970s to showcase the rich legacy of the Kumaon Region. Established by Kumaon Regiment of Indian Army, the museum houses war artefacts of historical importance that exhibit the glory and achievements of the Garhwal and Kumaon regiments.

  • Day 4:

    Post breakfast, proceed to Binsar (distance- 66 km, time- 3 hours), check into the hotel and spend the day free at leisure.

  • Day 5:

    Post breakfast, proceed for a small hike to-

    Zero Point- Zero Point is a tower that has been erected right at the heart of the Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary. It is present at a height of about 2400 meters above the ground level. This spot is not accessible by vehicles and can only be reached by a 2-kilometer trekking trail from the parking.

  • Day 6:

    Post breakfast, proceed for a walk to-

    Ghoralkot- Ghoralkot is where ghoral (mountain goats) were hunted in the days prior to the Sanctuary notification. The grazing ghoral were shot by hunters perched on a hillside facing it across a gorge. There isn’t any hunting in these parts now, ensuring not only the safety of the ghoral, but also the hikers. The trail starts from the Retreat and goes up a steep climb to Zero Point, about 1 km long and 400 feet up.

  • Day 7:

    Post breakfast, visit-

    Jageshwar Dham- Counted among the 12 Jyotirlingas in the country, Jageshwar lies in a beautiful narrow valley hedged by monarch-sized, ancient deodars. Of the over 100 small and large shrines of this complex, the three outstanding ones in terms of sculpture are dedicated to Jageshwar, Mrityunjaya, and Pushtidevi. There is a small museum where statues of artistic value, removed from the various shrines, have been preserved by the archaeological department.

    Later, proceed to Gethia (distance- 85 km, time- 3 hours), check into the hotel and spend the day free at leisure.

  • Day 8:

    Post breakfast, visit-

    Nainital- Nainital is a charming hill station that sits prettily at the green foothills of the Kumaon ranges in the Himalayas. Located at an elevation of around 1938 meters, the epicenter of the town’s popularity and beauty lies within the gorgeous Naini Lake, after which the town is named.

    Go shopping or boating.

    Overnight in Gethia.

  • Day 9:

    Drop at Kathgodam station.
