On Top Of The Waterfall @ Doodhsagar
EnquireOverview
As the name of the Camp "On Top Of The Waterfall @ Doodhsagar" suggests, the travelers will have the unique opportunity of seeing the famed Doodhsagar Falls from its very top. The view of the verdant valley from top is bound to leave you speechless.
...and all this while staying in a little homestay. The chosen homestay is NOT connected to any supplied utilities like electricity, water, internet or phones but surprisingly this little farm provides comfort bordering on luxury in a wholesome rustic way. Hidden away in some of the least populated and undisturbed evergreen forests in peninsular India, the Homestay is situated on a perennial stream.
We promise to keep you busy though. The activities will include exploring the perennial streams, trek to Doodhsagar Falls, (trying to) learn Pottery skills and a lot of time for lively conversations.
Join us, as Foliage Outdoors explores this place that promises surreal detachment from the outside world.
Note from the host (Doodhsagar) :
We are pleased to offer you a unique experience in the remote Western Ghats at our little cozy homestay. Though we are very close to Doodhsagar Falls, we are still "remote enough". So much so that you may trek around all day and not see a soul, though you can see plentiful wildlife here. The area of this block of forest is approximately 2,500sq km and not more than a handful of tribal hamlets and one medium sized village occupy it. It is quiet simply one of the most "off the beaten track" places you may ever visit.
Highlights of the tour :
- Unique opportunity to seeing Doodhsagar Falls from its very top !!
- Stay in a remote, rustic home stay in the Western Ghats
- Experience the bliss of being disconnected from the rest of the world
- Short trek that offers breathtaking views, live streams and beautiful waterfalls
- Enjoy your evening over wood-fired pizza and bonfire
